The city has many transport links to the rest of the country and abroad.
Trains
All the trains from outside of the Merseyside region come into Liverpool

National Express and Megabus both serve Liverpool and bring you into the

Getting to the University

The conference is being held in the Rendall Building,
(number 432 in square D2).
The School of Archaeology, Classics and Egyptology is
numbers 146 and 147 in square E3.
Accommodation
Unfortunately we are unable to provide accommodation for this conference,
however, affordable hotels and B & B’s can be found at;

We also recommend the International Inn in South Hunter Street which
is 10 minutes walking distance from the venue. The International Inn offers
three types of accommodation:
1. a hostel with bedrooms accommodating 2 – 10 people (you can book
mixed or single sex dorm rooms) and en-suite bathrooms which offers a
kitchen facility with free tea, coffee and toast (everything else you
need to provide yourself) and costs £15,-/ £18,- (double room)
per person & night.
2. Six apartments with 1 or 3 bedrooms accommodating 2 or 6 people. Price:
£65 or £150 per night & apartment. No refreshments provided.
3. A cocoon pod hotel whose double rooms have bathrooms and cost £
43,- per night & room. No refreshments provided.
All accommodation provided with bedding. There is no curfew, but you will
need photo ID for check-in. Also on the premises is an internet café

We are organising a lunch of fruit, sandwiches and other snacks throughout
the conference and would therefore appreciate if you could contact us
